It was the eleventh inning of Game 5 of the American League Division Series on Sunday, October 8, 1995. In front of more than 57,000 fans and down by a run, Edgar Martinez hit his infamous walk-off double down the left field line, scoring Joey Cora from third base and Ken Griffey, Jr. from first base. The M's beat the Yankees and punched their tickets to play for the American League Championship.
This enamel pin memorializes that game, showing a VHS tape in a colorful sleeve, labeled '1995 ALDS Gm 5'. Like all of our original pins, this is numbered on the back /100. It'll go great on your favorite fitted M's hat, your denim jacket, or backpack (among hundreds of other fine spots for a regal item like this.) This 1.5" long rectangular-ish pin has two posts and comes with rubber pin back catches, a sturdy collectable backing card, and a free sticker.
